Slice into 1\/4 inch half moons. Place sliced beets in a bowl and lightly coat with olive oil. Season with sea salt, fresh ground black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of fresh thyme. Toss in bowl.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cooked-single-direction cooked-direction\" data-step=\"Step 2\">\n<div class=\"cooked-dir-content\">\n<p>Place on a baking sheet and place in a 350 degree oven. Bake for 12 minutes. After 12 minutes add the walnuts to the beets, mixing thoroughly together. Bake 8 more minutes, constantly watching not to burn the nuts. Beets should be slightly caramelized and fork tender. The walnuts should be toasted, not burnt.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cooked-single-direction cooked-direction\" data-step=\"Step 3\">\n<div class=\"cooked-dir-content\">\n<p>Shake 2 parts olive oil, 1 part balsamic vinegar, honey, salt and pepper in a glass jar to make the dressing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cooked-single-direction cooked-direction\" data-step=\"Step 4\">\n<div class=\"cooked-dir-content\">\n<p>Place mixed baby greens in a bowl, and toss with dressing.
